  2. Front LED Descriptions

    PWR - A steady green Power light indicates the modem is on.

    SYS - Flashes green when the modem is not ready. Becomes steady green when the modem is functioning properly.

    ACT - When this light is flashing green, the modem is attempting to sign in to EarthLink using PPPoE. A steady green light indicates that the modem has successfully signed in.

    LAN - A flashing light indicates communication between the modem and the computer. A steady green/amber light indicates that the modem is connected to a computer or network. A green light represents 10Mbps and an amber light represents 100Mbps.

  3. Rear Descriptions

    On/Off - This switch turns the modem's power on and off.

    Power - This outlet provides power to the modem.

    LAN - This port transfers data between the modem and your computer. Plug the Ethernet cable into this port.

    RESET - This resets the modem to its default settings.

    DSL - This port transfers data between the modem and the Internet. Plug the telephone cable into this port.
