How to Configure Windows NT 4 for DHCP

You can configure Windows NT 4 for DHCP by editing your Network Neighborhood properties.

How to configure Windows NT 4 for DHCP
  1. Click the Network Neighborhood icon with your right mouse button, then choose Properties.

  2. Click on the Protocols tab.
  3. Click the Properties button.

  4. Click the down arrow on the Adapter drop-down list and choose your installed Network Interface Card (NIC).
  5. Select Obtain an IP address from a DHCP server.
  6. Click the OK button.

  7. Click the Close button.

  8. Click the Yes button to restart your computer.
