How to Configure Windows 2000 for DHCP

To configure Windows 2000 for DHCP, click the My Network Places icon with your right mouse button and choose Properties, then follow the instructions outlined below.

How to configure Windows 2000 for DHCP
  1. Click the My Network Places icon with your right mouse button, then choose Properties.

  2. Click the Local Area Connection icon with your right mouse button, then choose Properties.

  3. Choose TCP/IP from the list.
  4. Click the Properties button.

  5. Select Obtain an IP address automatically.
  6. Select Obtain DNS server addresses automatically.
  7. Click the OK button.
