This article outlines the steps to install Enternet 300 in a Windows PC.

To install EnterNet 300

Close all programs and disable any virus software.
To start the installation process, double-click the EnterNet.exe file.
Click the Next button on the Information window.
Click the Next button on the Choose Destination Location window.
Wait until the installation process has finished copying files to your computer.
Click the Yes button to launch the program file now.
Select Quick Install (accept default settings).
Click the Next button.
In the Name field, type your EarthLink email address.
In the Password field, type your EarthLink password.
Click the Next button.
Click the Finish button.
Click the Yes button when Windows prompts you to restart your computer. If Windows does not prompt you, restart your computer manually.
To verify that the software is installed correctly, check for a Efficient Networks P.P.P.o.E. Adapter entry in the Network Control Panel .

Note: Windows 2000: Notice when Local Area Connection is highlighted that Efficient Networks Enternet P.P.P.o.E Adapter appears on the left side.
